Dr. Fung Schwartz attended City College of New York where she majored in Biology. After graduation she took a gap year and taught Biology at Midwood High School in Brooklyn. She attended Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine/Temple School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her residency at St Clare’s Hospital in Midtown Manhattan and started her practice on the Upper Westside of Manhattan. In addition to her private practice, she worked in the outpatient clinic at St. Clare’s for 15 years supervising and teaching residents. She is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons since 1997. Dr. Fung-Schwartz returned to school and obtained her MBA in Health Care and Life Sciences Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2009.
Besides general podiatry, Dr. Fung-Schwartz has a special interest in diabetes, diabetic foot care, and diabetic foot reconstruction.
